Zagreb organizes firework events every year from June 29th until July 1st. It was a spur of the moment really, but with great results, check it out!

Time for you guys to meet Freedom Sons. No, I’m not talking about a military march in the Middle East or something like that, we’re actually a band. Freedom Sons consist of Mario (lead vocalist) and yours truly (acoustic/electric guitar), but who knows, maybe one day we will expand to more instruments and members. Freedom Sons are all about rock, with emphasis on country rock and everlasting ballads. Let me tell you more about how it all began.

I’ve started playing classical guitar about three years ago on Christmas Eve after seeing two sisters play “Help” by the Beatles on YouTube. Four months later, I saw “Those who wait” by Tommy Emmanuel also on YouTube and decided to buy an acoustic guitar and go into solo instrumental finger/flat picking style of playing. After 2 years I realized that covering all the hits, instrumental, or classic rock, blues, pop, country etc. simply wasn’t enough for my creative soul, so I decided to make my own music. Soon after this, “Beacon” was born, as a symbol of what creativity is all about. Then came “Memories”, etc. Music video for “Beacon” will be available soon.

In Parallel, I started hanging out with my college buddy Mario, who is really a great vocalist, inspired by Bon Jovi, Steve Perry and many other rock legends of our time. We are really great friends and have such similar views about everything we come across in life. We realized that our positive and cheerful personalities, love for freedom in all forms, damn good sense of humor and above all, great love for music could help us create incredible songs. Freedom Sons represent pure freedom, unchained hearts and minds of all the man-made rules and regulations. By giving just a small contribution to the vast music industry, we wanted to give every listener a taste of it, what freedom is all about, through emotional songs, meaningful story and inspiring lyrics that take you beyond the laws of men.

This band wasn’t formed for fun, it was a must for us, we just had to find a way to be free! Each song represents a part of the whole story of “Open road”. Will we eventually be free? What troubles will open road bring for us? What will be the true cost of freedom? Stay tuned!

Our first album is called “Open road” and it will feature ten original songs and a few covers.

About the album

Each song in this album represents a journey through Freedom Sons life. Mario and Igor are best friends and they decide to embark on a journey together in search for complete freedom. They leave everything behind – bad relationships, lousy jobs, conflicting families – with nothing but an open road in front of them. People spend their whole lives living “by the book” and wondering what’s it like to live your life the way you want to live it, with feelings of being “trapped” following them throughout. Freedom sons faced that same problem, but they decided to do something about it!

Mario and Igor were close friends from day one. Realizing how similar their views on life are and how many problems they are facing alone, they decided to do something about it – together! Mario had this unforgettable ex girlfriend who he loved so much, but could never let go of. This is her story.

After his mourning for “Andrea”, Mario decided to take a short break from everything and Igor gave him some space. After a short period of time, Mario realized he couldn’t separate himself from the rest of the world, so he decided to meet up with Igor and continue their journey. With not much to say, they started running through the woods with nothing but complete freedom in front of them. Check it out.

This love ballad is a song that compares a woman’s beauty with the setting sun. Just like a woman, the sun represents a certain mystery, and gazing upon it for too long can make you completely lose yourself in the moment. Enjoy

To get more people to see our original songs, we decided to make a cover of this incredibly famous song. Since the original video is quite unique, we decided to make a unique video ourselves much like the one that REM released for the song “We all go back to where we belong”.

This segment is all about film industry. Films, believe it or not, change our lives. They can give us new meanings, guide us, change the way we see things…if that isn’t pure power, I don’t know what is.

Destruction of Evil from Grmošćica

This one is a Mamma! Let’s start from the beginning. Film “Destruction of Evil from Grmošćica” is actually a sequel to an amateur film called “Evil from Grmošćica”. This film tells a story of a young man called Igor (yup that’s me) who journeys the woods of Grmošćica with his two companions (Matija & Mario) in search of a Witch that possessed his grandmother, Greny.

They don’t find the Witch, but he/she finds them and starts possessing whoever is the weakest chain in the group that results in near fatal consequences for everyone involved. The thing is, this Witch has a mind control ability over a person that has the most potential to be evil.

As an amateur director of this film, I’ve tried to show in this promo video how their journey looked like and how did Greny end up losing her grandson who desperately tried to help her while searching for the Witch. Or so she thinks.

This section is about covering events regarding the world of technology, but in an Iggymotion kind of way, of course.

Lenovo Exclusive Store

Here’s a tip for all of you “How can I shoot anything in such a crowded, tiny place?”. Simply don’t try so hard to capture the whole room while there’s every single guest on board. For God’s sake, wait untill half of the leave, then take that overall shot of the place. But don’t just wait on your ass while they move, shoot for details, interesting situations in the crowd, etc.

Samsung’s first Croatian Smart TV application

Oh yeah, Samsung got all the children on their feet when they saw “Sunčica”, the first Croatian Smart TV application. Here’s a tip, get some shots of the kids, wherever and whenever you can. Of course, I don’t mean it in that way (you pervs!), but because children give pure honesty in their facial expression. You can see how mesmerized that kid was when he was trying out “Sunčica”, what more proof do you need that this application will be a success among youngsters?

I’m sorry, but you’re just gonna have to skip to the next chapter if you wanna see some hotties, but I guess the title does sounds a little “hot ass” alert. Sonus art is a supreme hi-fi and home theatre component store situated in Zagreb, Croatia. As you can see, they can really throw a good party.

This section is about making memorable artistic videos that stay with the viewer for some time after seeing them. We’re all different people with different tastes in things, so it’s impossible to make the same impact on everyone, but hey, there are 6 billion of us last time I checked.

Predator Trilogy

This video is more of a teaser than anything else for Predator Trilogy Collectors 6 Disc set. It’s like when you’re a fan of movies like Predator, making a video like this is easy, creativity comes by itself.

Skyrim soundtrack collection

This video presents a tribute to the new game that gained huge popularity among gamers around the world, althouth this video is about skyrim soundtrack collection. It  contains four soundtrack discs of breathtaking Skyrim music.

DTS-HD Master audio

This was a fun video to make. I decided to make my own comic demonstration of DTS demo disc. DTS is dedicated to sound and I wanted to emphasise the impact of music on a listener, making him a part of music. New beautiful demo disc from DTS comes with only the finest selection of movie clips, songs and sound check videos in both 2D and 3D.

Now this was a really fun video to make! Listen to the sound, visualize it, become part of it. Like DTS, Dolby TureHD is an advanced Blu-ray technology that enables you to enjoy reference-quality audio in your home that is identical to the original recording captured on the mixing stage, in studio, or at a live concert event.

This section is about a symbiotic bond between nature and people.  It’s funny how we endlessly continue to exploit nature’s resources for our personal gain, yet we try so hard to preserve it..

City in the mist

This was a beautiful video to make. It’s not ultra impressive, but it has certain soul to it. I wanted to capture how nature changes, how we change, how everything changes. At the end of the video, I wanted to show how different the nature can get with the changing of the seasons.

Birds of Jarun

This was my first video ever. The first FIRST version of this video is about 6 min long, but I had to edit it for HDtelevizija purposes, like an extended edition of a movie that never gets a chance to shine, except in collectors editions, I guess.

Return of the birds of Jarun

Oh yeah, There’s a sequel to the Birds of Jarun, much better and much more powerful. In this sequel, I wanted to capture the similarities of people and animals. We all stick together in packs and flocks that make us stronger, like these birds, but we also have a need to search for life’s meaning on our own, individually, like the guy in this video. Actually, I’ve put my brother and myself in this one.

This section is about capturing the best moments in sports, where people give their best to show what they’re made of. It’s miraculous what a little bit of exercise can do for a human body and mind.

ZUMBA® Flash Mob at Pula/Croatia

Oh I had so much fun making this official Zumba video for my dear friends from Pula. Since I had only one good camera, my brother taped the whole event from different angles using camera on his IPhone. I guess it still turned out quite well, don’t you think.

Zumbathon® charity event “Mi za Cvrkutiće”

Finally, an event for a good cause! You gotta love this one, we were all actually trying to help out, through donations, this group of children whose kindergarten got into a really bad shape, roof falling off and stuff like that. So you can’t say that Zumba doesn’t bring out the best in people, while they’re having the time of their lifes.

Zumba fitness in Medulin

So far, this has been the most viewed Zumba video on YouTube! Why? Cuz it simply captures the awesome time we all had in Medulin, a town in Istria, Croatia. With Zumba spirit and summer breeze wrapped into one, an idea for this video was born. I’ll let you think about that for a second.

Dance Trance fitness by Helena Lojen Marić

This video was shot in studio Thalia, owned by Croatian fitness instructor Helena Lojen Marić. She is really an inspiring dancer who captures true essence of what Dance Trance fitness is all about. As you can see, she really brought this new form of fitness to life during this training!

NIKE Hrvatska

This video features a race around a lake Jarun in Zagreb that’s about 6.3 km. While recording this, my camera was lucky, because I was ready to freakin’ throw it away and join the runners, but then we wouldn’t have this video, I guess.

Zumba Christmas party in Zagreb

From the heart of summer, to the heart of winter (I think that was a sequel of some game.. Oh right, Icewind Dale..). Zumba Christmas party took place in a restaurant called “Palfa” in Zagreb, Croatia.  Hey, I know what you’re thinking, “We can’t see shit in this low lighting!”, and I couldn’t agree more, but sometimes you just have to play with hands you are dealt.

My name is Igor Hlusicka a.k.a. Iggymotion. I am a self-taught motion picture enthusiast and a HDtelevizija reporter. Throughout my education, I loved filming videos for my family, friends and myself. After finishing a photography course, I realized that shooting videos and editing them afterwards is where my true aspirations lie. Equipment

Everything you will see on this web page was shot with Canon Legrija HF200 camcorder and Canon EOS 550D camera, with the help of ultrasonic EF-S 17-55mm F2.8 and EF 50 mm F1.8 lenses. Also, I used Weifeng WF-533T tripod for still shots, and a Glydecam 2000 PRO for moving, but steady shots.
